Who actually uses Perfex CRM — and what for? We wanted to write that article. Then we checked the sources and found something surprising: nobody knows. So instead of publishing guesses, we are researching it properly — and this page documents what we know so far, what nobody can prove, and how you can help close the gap in 20 seconds.

What We Know So Far (Verified July 2026)

These numbers are the current, verifiable state of the Perfex ecosystem — each checked against its live source:

  • ~25,800 licenses sold on CodeCanyon, rated 4.88/5 from ~1,500 reviews, with over 10,800 buyer comments. Note: sales are lifetime license purchases, not active installations.
  • 933–2,300 publicly detectable live installations, depending on the scanner (WebTechSurvey: 933, Wappalyzer: ~2,300). That is a hard lower bound — most CRM instances sit behind logins where crawlers cannot see them. Fewer than 4% of sold licenses are publicly detectable at all.
  • Where the detected installations run: USA leads (287), followed by Germany (90), Brazil (58), France (56), and the UK (56); Wappalyzer's larger sample also puts India near the top. Caveat: scanners locate the server, not the company. Community projects on GitHub — a Nigerian payment module, a Malaysian gateway maintained by the payment provider itself, a Polish SMS integration, an Arabic language pack — point to active use well beyond the West.
  • Who it is built for: vendor positioning and independent long-term user reports converge on the same profile — small and medium service businesses (agencies, consultants, freelancers, IT firms), typically 5–20 people.
  • What the add-on market reveals: the best-selling Perfex add-ons are Inventory (~1,900 sales), Chat (~1,800), Purchase Management (~1,700), and Accounting (~1,600) — evidence that plenty of Perfex users run operations-heavy businesses, not just agencies. On GitHub, the most active community development is WhatsApp/SMS messaging and n8n automation.

What Nobody Knows: The Industry Question

Here is the gap. No source on the internet can tell you which industries actually use Perfex CRM. The only "customer database" we found claims coverage of 195 countries and 21 industries — but its published percentages are mathematically based on exactly 7 records. The 10,800+ CodeCanyon comments have never been systematically analyzed. Everything you read about "typical Perfex users" — including on our own site — is anecdote, not data.

We think that is worth fixing. So we are collecting the answer directly from the people who have it: Perfex users.

Live Results

Status July 2026: the survey is running. As soon as enough responses come in for meaningful numbers, this section will show the distribution by industry and use case — updated as answers arrive. If you want to be cited as a contributor or get notified when results are out, leave your email in the survey (optional).

How We Are Researching This

Transparency on method: we combine technology scanners (WebTechSurvey, Wappalyzer — live installation detection), marketplace data (CodeCanyon sales, ratings, add-on demand), community evidence (forum threads, GitHub projects, verified user reports — each claim source-checked before we use it), and the user survey on this page. Numbers we cannot verify do not get published. When the dataset is solid, this page becomes the full article: "Who Uses Perfex CRM — with data."
